In an interesting new survey has reported that the highest likely number of alcohol dependent employees work in the mining and construction fields, with wholesale and retail employees being next.
Almost one-third of college students admit to having missed at least one class because of their alcohol or drug use, and nearly one-quarter of students report bombing a test or project because of the aftereffects of drinking or doing drugs.
Adolescents seem to have a higher tolerance for the negative immediate effects of heavy alcohol consumption, such as feeling ill and nauseated.
A survey by the Harvard School of Public Health regarding alcohol use found that 44% of college students are binge drinkers, 74% of which say they binged in high school.
